Welcome to the Kortugan League, a land of embezzlement, piracy, gratuitous lunacy, and fragmentation. The Kortugans are basically an extremely loose confederation of tribes that only come together to important things, be it killing off an inactive nation or kicking off a new tech era. They're pirates, always pilfering around, looking for trouble, and generally unorganized. However, there is hope for these scallywags, you. Yes, you, as a citizen of Kerbin, are just what the Kortugans need to come together and form a new nation! Can you band these pirates together? Can you carve a stronghold for your people? Can you build a nation to stand against the ages?

National Focus is the allocation of your building bonus, which is itself a special 20% bonus on the features of a project you built if it is part of the national focus group you've chosen. In simpler terms, whichever national focus you choose decides what group of projects will give you a special bonus on their part.

Industrial Focus - 120 PP | 80 MP Loadout | Bonuses from infrastructural projects (Interstate Network, Power Plants, etc.)
Military Focus - 80 PP | 120 MP Loadout | Bonuses from military projects (Military Base, Training Exercises, etc.)
Scientific Focus - 140 PP | 60 MP Loadout | Bonuses from scientific projects (Particle Accelerator, Research Bases, etc.) | Research speed x1.25 | Military development/construction speed x0.75
Economic Focus - 160 PP | 40 MP Loadout | Bonuses from economic projects (Stock Exchange, Internal Revenue Service, etc.) | Extra 20 Megakerbits at start | Military development/construction speed halved
Generalistic Focus - 100 PP | 100 MP | 0.1x bonus from all buildings
One can switch between the different focuses by completed the "National Reorganization" project (168 PP) (84 million kerb its)


TIPS 'N' TRICKS

Don't forget to include some exclaves/other interesting features for your nation.

Don't forget to make your nation original - you will keep it for several role-plays as retention is allowed.

Don't forget to make your nation border another nation (it just looks nicer then and is not compulsory).

Don't forget that similar cultures belong to similar places - this means that if Kitaly is near the north pole and the Kroman Empure is near the south pole or the Kerviet Union is on the opposite side of Kerbin than Kerukraine, it will be unrealistic. If your nation is next to another nation, if you want, you can make it similar to the other nation. This means that Kchina is next to Kjapan or Kamerica is next to Kanada.

Don't forget that if you want, you can always do "Twin Nations" if you speak with another player to organise it. A parody of the USA/CSA or of North and South Korea is always welcome because this is one of the things that makes the world map realistic.

History: The first ideas of a Mestonian state began in the aftermath of the fall of the Woranī Empire, after it had divided into multiple tiny states. Since then, people identifying as Mestonians had attempted to unify all the Mestonian Kerbals into a single state. This was achieved around 300 years ago, when the Mestonian Peninsula combined into a single nation under the leadership of the Workstal City State.

Mestonia continued relatively unencumbered as an absolute monarchy up until around sixty years ago. At that point, the Mestonian communists found themselves increasingly dissatisfied with the conservative views of the King and demanded change. This culminated in a blood-filled revolution, creating the short-lived People’s Mestonian Republic. After just under a year, right-wing soldiers and ex-soldiers expelled the communists in another blood-filled revolution.

The new government drafted up a democratic constitution, which limited the power of the royal family and allowed every Mestonian to vote. This constitution has remained since.

History: The first Emperor of Trogta crowned himself 298 years ago after uniting all Kerbals on the islands under his reign. He soon declared his heirs as "unworthy for the crown", split the freshly formed country into seven counties and called out elections for members of the Council. This was formed in order to speak for the people in their respective areas and also to elect a new Emperor after the previous one died or abdicated. The counts are reelected every 10 years directly by the people. Every legal adult citizen is allowed to vote.
(The first Emperor himself, Saedric I., was later assassinated by his three sons)

He also wrote the Constitution of Trogta, which is approved by the Council and the people unchanged up to the present day. The present Emperor, Emanuel K. Gonzalos, promised to bring Kerbalkind "to the Final Frontier and beyond".

Sorry, the resolution of your map is too low.

Idea: Someone can create a nation called Western Trogta on the island west of Trogta? It might also occupy some territory on the mainland/the island north of Trogta's exclave on the mainland.

Both nations then might be at cold war just like North and South korea?
